These beautiful units have dimensions of 16”T x 18”W x
9”D.
They feature solid ¾” Honduran
mahogany construction, brass or stainless steel hardware, positive
catch door latches, and are available with either louvered
or screened sides.
They are use a Taylor 5522S non-mercury containing wet/dry
bulb hygrometer which comes with the unit, and accept a standard
US Navy aneroid barometer which is
supplied by your ship.
Depending upon the weather your ship encounters frequently, we offer
two choices of inserts for the enclosure doors and sides.
Louvered inserts-
Are best used for direct exposure to extreme weather conditions-
They ensure the maximum amount of protection from all outdoor environments.
Screened inserts- Are a cost effective alternative to louvers.
They offer great protection from the environment, and are a little
less
expensive then louvers.
These inserts are ideal for ships that do not encounter extreme weather,
or choose to install the enclosure in a more protected area of
the ship.

- Standard Navy Aneroid
barometer is not included- it must be provided by your ship.
This enclosure allows for a Taylor 5522S thermometer on the left
side, and a standard Navy Aneroid Barometer on a shock mounting to
the right. The 2 doors are hinged
on
the left and the right with stainless steel or solid brass hardware.
This unit can be ordered both with or without the wet/dry thermometer
pack. We do not offer the Aneroid barometer for purchase as they are
provided by the ship.
