The USS McClusky's name board is 72"Lx8"T and utilized a recessed face to keep the lettering flush with the face of the board. The board's face was routed out 1/2" deep to accommodate the 1/2" thick lettering that is inside the routed area. The board is finished with a golden Oak stained finish and the standard 4 coats of outdoor varnish.
