The Monsoon chose a more basic layout for their boards like the CGC Zephyr did. The end cuts were simplified and the stars were omitted. The boards were made in African Mahogany with 1/2" thick PVC/Polished gold face lettering. The Monsoon did choose to include the periods between the USCGC.
