Here's a set of boards done in African Mahogany with 1/2" thick PVC/polished gold face lettering. The Block Island chose to use the periods between the USCGC and stars on each end for their layout.
These boards are approximately 71"Lx8.5"T and the lettering is about 4.5" tall.
