This is a very good example of what can be achieved using a digital format and composite materials. These 14"Tx11"W plaques are made from 1/4" thick acrylic with a polished 45 degree angle beveled edge.
All of the files used are from our archive of illustrations and the ship's crest was reproduced for the project in digital format as well. The light shadow under the pins/lettering/crest add a little dimension for the plaque even though they are perfectly flat.
These plaques are held on to the door using a VHB (very high bond) double faced adhesive tape and weigh in at about 1/3 LB each.
