These beautiful boards are used to display
your command's name in a format much more attractive than a
standard sign.
All of our boards come
with a cove-routed perimeter edge, and decorative cut ends at no
extra charge. They also come standard with CNC routed dimensional lettering with
numerous thicknesses and finishes available. These boards are far more attractive than the usual
wood board with recessed/routed lettering at a comparable
cost.
They can be made from a variety of wood materials
including African or Honduran Mahogany, Oak, Maple, and
outdoor rated MDF composite material that is great for painted boards
especially when mounting them directly to the ship for permanent
installations.

Each board is hand made using the best materials and
techniques available. They all come with 4 coats of satin
finish outdoor varnish or exterior paint to protect them from the
elements.

Pricing for solid wood name boards
- Although these boards are very similar in design, the
materials used for each varies depending on your specific
needs. We ask that you contact us to let us know how you
would like them made. We always provide scaled layouts
that will show you the possibilities available so that your
command can see what it will get before the boards are
even ordered. There is never any obligation/cost
for us to produce the layouts- we just like our customers to
make an informed decision.
A "typical" application would be as follows:
70"x8.5x3/4"
solid Oak or African Mahogany name board with 6”
PVC/laminate lettering (about 23 characters per board) with routed
edging, and custom cut ends......$800.00/ pair + shipping
Shipping on these units is additional,
and estimated at the time of inquiry according to your location
and size of finished board. Most name boards require oversize
shipping due to their length.
